At Gardner White a recycler will prepare and sort materials or products for recycling. Identify and remove non-recycling materials.
Shift: 4:00pm to 12:30am
$14/hr. Paid Weekly
Minimum Qualifications:
· Sort materials, such as styrofoam, plastic, and cardboard
· Clean recycling yard by sweeping, raking, picking up loose paper debris, or moving merchandise.
· Clean, inspect, or lubricate recyclable collection equipment or perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.
· Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place materials on conveyor belts.
· Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales.
· Clean materials according to recycling requirements.
· Operate processing equipment, such as fiber-sorters and grinders, to sort, crush, or grind recyclable materials.
· Collect recyclable materials from curbside for delivery to designated facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to sort and separate styrofoam, plastic, and cardboard
· Ability to keep a clean and organized work area
· Able to operate tugging machine
· Ability to operate cardboard and plastic bailers
· Ability to operate Styrofoam machine
· Ability to push / pull / lift up to 100 lbs. on a consistent basis
